Short Circuit – Let Go

When Andrew Verner first joined Binary, he made music under the moniker On Off On. Thanks to a little battle with a local band with the same name, he became Short Circuit last year. A year older and wiser and the choice of name seems to take on a larger significance. We are proud to be releasing his first single ‘Let Go’ for free here on the Binary blog. Much like the name Short Circuit suggests, Andrew’s music is a hybrid robopop that tugs at your heart and your feet at the same time.

Let Go, which was also a featured track on Binary’s compilation album LA Lights is the perfect introduction to Short Circuit’s unique songwriting and head nodding production.

If you’re interested in buying the Binary compilation by the way, you can head over here.

Without further ado… Here’s ‘Let Go’.

Short Circuit – Let Go

Like a childhood dream of love, Let Go is both whimsical and endearing at the same time. A little synth wizardry and some telling lyrics can go a long way.

And, because we love our readers, here is the entire Let Go Single Package. It features remixes by NightWaves, Small Pyramids, Flashworx, and Popskarr. There’s also bonus Short Circuit content in there for you guys.

Do you have a favorite remix? We wanna hear what it is!
