Darius – Hot Hands

Darius gets sultry smooth with his latest EP / Romance. More mature and diverse than previous releases I am hard pressed to pick a for sure favorite.  That French attention to detail and those melodic shifts, so good. Hot Hands is a Tune. Check the EP and his other releases, quality music. Binary Approves.

Phoenix – SOS In Bel Air (Jackson and His Computer Band Remix)

Phoenix, although they seem to have slipped gradually into guilty pleasure territory they still have a place in my heart. Jackson and His Computer Band take this one into new depths and as the song unfolds it earns the honorable mention that is a blog post. The vocals take a journey through electronic landscapes less dreamy and more future of the funk. The mix feels kinetic and live, more like the magic one experiences when a dj is deep in his groove than some finished and polished piece. Feeling this. Binary approves.
