   | Alfa is the moniker for Los Angeles producer Zak Aldridge. The Rancho Cucamonga raised multi instrumentalist weaves funk and electro influences into originals and remixes that playfully skip genres and defy description. After winning a notable remix competition for The Cryptonites in mid 2008, Aldridge signed with Binary Records and has been painstaking crafting originals for his debut album since. Remixing the likes of Vim Cortez, Little Boots, NightWaves, O'Dahl, and Flashlights, Alfa has created a sound that showcases his musicianship and blends his tastes into a sound described as "funk laden electronica". At times bordering on odd, Alfa's productions are rooted firmly in a keen sense of melody and a clear desire to stray away from the norm. Currently Alfa is working on his debut release for Binary Records. |
